How long is a typical training block?

Training blocks are typically 4-6 months before a large race  but can be longer or shorter, depending on fitness, experience level,  and goals. Many RMC athletes have a 2-3 year working plan with short and long term goals.

How do I decide which level of plan I need?

The "Coaching" page has a general overview of the levels, but contact RMC directly to set up a discovery call and get personalized recommendations.

How does virtual coaching work?

RMC is based in Phoenix, AZ, with hubs in Las Vegas and the LA-area, but our athletes span the United States and even internationally! All RMC coaches work virtually with athletes, communicating across coaching platforms, social media, and texting/phone calls.

Testimonials

"I'm not an 'elite' runner, but I've got some  goals and I was overwhelmed with trying to figure out how to make it  come together. Investing in a custom training plan and a coach was more  affordable than I thought and priceless in terms of my sanity over the  last 2 months." - Anne, Oregon

"I've noticed how much better I am focusing when I have a plan and  schedule to follow. Naturally I resist being told what to do, but it  seems to be no issue for me taking on a coach. I've just started my  second training block with Coach Eve of Rising Mountains Coaching. She's  been the perfect coach for me. Whenever I have questions or concerns,  she's been there for me. The plan she laid out for me stacked my mileage  in a way that felt easy for me. Her direction and support was crucial  to my success in my last 50." - Amanda, South Dakota

"I couldn’t possibly be happier to be working with [my Coach]. She’s so  supportive and encouraging and the plan she’s put together for me really  provides the challenges I know I need to become a better runner." -  Sam, Oklahoma

“I can honestly say that there is no way I could have ever achieved this  without my coach. She gets it. She knows her stuff. She draws out the  best in you, while stretching you and developing those shortcomings. But  what makes her special is that she believes in you. She is your biggest  fan. And she wants nothing other than to see you succeed and will find a  way to make it happen.” - Catherine, New Zealand

"If anyone is looking for professional, personalized training for any  distance, check out Rising Mountains Coaching. The  energetic,  one-on-one attention will provide you with all the skills and confidence  to get you across that finish line. " -TJ, Arizona
